Plug & Play Resources

Designed for K-6 teachers, you can teach the program yourself by investing in these ready-made videos and teacher guide. It will no doubt save you time and energy in planning. The Plug & Play Program consists of 6 video lessons for K-2 AND 6 video lessons for Grades 3-6. It also includes a Guide for Teachers to follow along to, while leaving room for modifications and enhancements.

Legendary Crew-Facilitated Program

We’ve got you! We will send a trained Mini Legends Program Coach (we like to call them Legendary Crew Members) to your school to teach in-depth lessons to your students. A Legendary Crew member will take each grade level through 1-5 developmentally appropriate and engaging lessons.

Mini Legends Games

The Mini Legends Games (not to be confused with the Olympic Games 🙂 ) is a fun-filled day for your students (or your entire school community) to demonstrate their learned physical literacy skills. These Games can be run by an Athletics Alberta Legendary Crew or by your own staff.

Mobile Stadium

The Mobile Stadium is a compact & FUNctional mini-unit that can accommodate 60 kids/hour. We bring the kid-friendly track & field equipment to you, set it up and run the 7 different activities that include; sprinting, hurdles, high jump, long jump, shot put & javelin.

Run Like a Legend provides educators with free run programs (4, 8, and 12-week run programs); in-school Legendary Crew Run coaches; and the option for Run Like a Legend Relay Days.

Legendary Crew

Our Legendary Crew is comprised of certified coaches and athletes. Managed by Tracy Lockwood, a Physical Education Specialist with over 25 years teaching experience, the Legendary Crew will take your students through the Mini Legends Program. Kindness, inclusivity, relevant instruction, and fun are the foundation from which we coach your students.
