The Mini Legends Program (MLP) is a physical literacy program for children and youth that is supported and managed by Athletics Alberta. MLP is a safe and inclusive program that teaches fundamental movement and basic sports skills through developmentally appropriate and engaging activities.
Grassroots Program
MLP is one of the grassroots programs of Athletics Alberta; programs aimed at youth and recreational athletes. Athletics Alberta – the provincial governing body for track and field, cross country, and road running – has been developing athletes using the concepts of run, jump, throw – those found in the Mini Legends Program – for over 50 years.
